The World Cafe is an evening of lively conversation and cross-cultural dialogue. We believe the best conversations happen when you’re sitting around a table with a few friends. Drawing upon our knowledge, perspective, and ideas as Vietnamese and Vietnamese-Americans, we’ll explore questions and themes about the Vietnamese community and identity.
When: Tuesday, November 29th, 2016. 5:30-8:00pm.
Location: Southside Commons, 3518 S. Edmunds St. Seattle, WA 98118
The event is free, but registration is encouraged. Your registration includes hearty appetizers and drinks from Tamarind Tree Restaurant.
The World Cafe is organized by Our Song, a Vietnamese-American oral history project whose mission is to honor and enrich the Vietnamese American experience by preserving our stories. This project is funded in part by a Neighborhood Matching Fund award from Seattle Department of Neighborhoods. Our Song is sponsored by the Vietnamese Friendship Association.
